how the dreads on the top of his head are wrapped and colorful, i tried googling it, lol. how do you do that/whatdo you use?

hair wraps ok heres the thing
the bottom pic is just a criss cross wrap used to i guess help it dread tho hers look well dreaded so i dunno the tiop pics hard to see but theres a couple ways to do this
1 speed wraps
titake several colors of embroidery thread tie em around the roots
lay all the colirs yopur not actively using along the dread then wrap the 1 u are using round and roubd and round till u chabnge colors these speed wraps fall apart in a minth or so
next is the macreme knotted types for the most basic search yourtube for chinesre ladder wrap or chinese ladder bracelests
these take a sikmple knot around and around
to get fancy u can alternate directions for a ridge or go 1 way for a spiral or use 2 at same time for alternating color striped or both same color double ridges or spirals
u can use hemp for a single color 1 that can last years and years
