hello guys! = ))) I've tried washing my hair with BS, but it seems I'm doing smth wrong - I don't see or feel any "white paste" when I pour out soda with water on my head and let it soak. I use something like 1 teaspoon for a cup of water. Also I like to wash my head with domestic detergent soap - it's vegetable and I like my hair after the wash, and they knot pretty good. BUT - it dries the scalp pretty much, which causes dandruff TT Then I use burdock oil - and again, there's a trouble. The oil is oily! = ))) So I have to wash it with soap reeeeally good to make my hair normal. My head was normal (no dandruff) for a week after that oil, even with the fact that I washed it off with the soap.

I don't know a whole lot but I'm pretty sure the bs mixture shouldn't be pasty. Mix the bs and water together in a pitcher making sure your head is saturated. Let it sit while you wash your bod maybe 10 min or so and rinse with cold water.Gotta let it sit though. I use tea tree oil like 10 drops with 1/4 cup of bs in a 2qt pitcher. The tea tree oil soothes the scalp and then I use a lavender and sea salt mist in between washes.

under "white paste" I mean not the mixture itself - some ppl say that when u pour it out on your head, it bonds with fat and creates soap. smth like that =))) the oils are not very easy to find where I live, and they are expensive - so I'd like some more simple ways to wash my head)))) I made the burdock oil myself, it grows everywhere in here = )))

Oh man that sux about the oils. I would think just a good residue free shampoo would be fine. The powdered soap I'm sure tears your scalp up...ouch. Baby shampoo would be fine too.

U may have misunderstood me about the soap - it's not powdered, it looks like this http://kazprom-image.s3.amazonaws.com/69772_w640_h640_126.jpgwhat should I avoid in shampoos? I mean - anything that would make dreading longer?

Oh okay I c what you are saying. You should definentley try an apple cider vinegar soak then. Take a pitcher of water and add your 1/4 cup of bs and then add 4 cap fulls of the acv. I've done this and it helps alot! Saturate your head with the solution and then allow it to sit on your scalp for at least 10 minutes. I only do that once a week. Rinse it out good with cold water and it should help alot! Your hair won't smell either lol!

You might even try to dilute the burdock oil in water.....well ya know mix the two in a spray bottle with sea salt like two pinches and then shake it up and mist daily to every other day for some light scalp repair.
