Preventing residue, still using regular shampoo

Since is is really hard for me to get residue free shampoo here, would it be bad to wash with regular shampoo, condition with Renpure Organics (deeppenetratingreconstructorif it matters) and wash my hair every few days with Neutrogena Anti-residue? Or do you think it would be okay to use the neutrogena every day (every day that I wash that is)?

neutrogena would be fine. i personally don't like the smell of it but others on the forum have had great results in knotting. why would you condition?

I am conditioning because I didn't realize I was buying conditioner because it didn't say on the bottle whether it was shampoo or conditioner and I would like to use the bottle until it is gone.

As far as diluting the neutrogena, why and what ratio?

While I'm here, should I wash each dread individually or just rub the shampoo in at the base and work it down?
