What happens when you dont want your dreads past a certain length? For example, I want my dreads to grow past my shoulders but not past my ass, sort of in between. So what are you suppose to do?

grow taller faster then they grow longer
u could always cut em but i doubt u will want to when u get there
i guess theres a 3rd option let your ass droop to the floor

i fucking lol'ed at your post SE, as for the length. your only choice is to cut if you want them shorter. but i wouldnt do that, the ends would look weird.

I know a dude who has had dreads for a very long time and hes cut from them from butt/mid back length to shoulder length a couple of times, cuts the ends at an angle and scruffs it up and after a couple of months it looks fine
