Can you guys tell me what size dreads those sections of hair would make?
Like with a few pics maybe?
The piece I'm holding is bigger than the other sections shown.
I don't want really thick dreads. I was thinking maybe around 40, not too sure, but then again, I don't think I'm planning on numbering them during the process. But, I'm keeping some of my hair to be non-dreaded, including my bangs (which have grown long by now) and the sides before my ears.
My hair is obviously kinky/curly, so I anticipate a lot of shrinking, and erroring on the thinner sections so they won't be very thick. I don't think I want micro dreads. I would want them to definitely be wider than an average pencil, bigger than 10mm wide, I guess.
I included pics of sizes I think look nice. I think the second girl's dreads are a little thicker though.
