just curious. my hair is growing f a s t. my hair is locking fine, some are getting pretty fat, which makes me happy, I just would like to know if the whole shrinkage thing is an absolute- or a sometimes- sort of deal. I'd like them to shrink, in hopes that some of the skinnies would get a little thicker/so that i dont have to end up cutting off my nice curly ends in 5 years vs 10.

take a straight hair measure the length

then make that hair ziz zag all over the place going sideways more then downwards sometimes going upwards and wrapping arou8nd and around itself then measure

ofcourse they always shrink yo=ur taking a hair that usualy just hangs down and having it go upo down left right all around in chaotic directions

its amazing they dont shrink more then they do

i havent noticed much shrinkage in mine, SE makes a good point in how it would shrink, but mine has been quite minimal

thanks for the feedback, i guess i havent really actually measured my hair on a daily basis, it just seems like my hair is getting sooo long sooo fast. it's not even like the new growth is having issues locking, i guess it's just been a while since i've had longer hair haha. i dont know if there's any factual basis in this, but maybe using natural soap has all-over hair health benefits = it grows longer faster and dreadier? ha.

how long have you all had your tnrs?
