Hi, all. I'm new to this forum. I stumbled upon this site while watching a dreads video on youtube. My name is Tashie and I am 17 years young. I have been seriously thinking about getting a full head of dreads for some time now. Seeings how it's now summer I think I may just act on that though. As of right now my hair color is faded blue with my brown roots coming through. If I was to do dreads I think it'd be best to either re-dye it blue again or get as close as I could to my natural brown color. In your opinion, which do you think would be best?

Welp. My mother just gave me the okay. Shes a hair beautician and she even offered to do it. I'll be a dread head by tonight. I'll let you know how it turns out!

She will be using the backcomb method. I'd rather have them "done" then the all natural look.

to me personally i love when women have different unique colors in their hair so blue would be fine.

I started making dreads tonight. I currently have four dreads now. I'll keep working on them here and there until Friday when my mom can finish them up.
