Just saying hi as I'm new. I've only had my dreads a little under two years, but they've come a long way, already I can't imagine not having them. I've battled using wax , and had and rid myself of the nightmare of lice already and they held up through all of that. So I guess they can only get better now. I use manic panic(it's also UV reactive, hence the glow in myavatar picture)to dye them by the way cause I know someone will ask

oh welcome i know now why your dreads felt sticky after baking soda...manic panic baking soda cleans super deeply so much it takes out xcolor and the manic panic was built up inside the dreads comming to the surface feeling sticky

Oh thanks for your replies, I never even thought about that since they had been washed several times since the color had been applied, but that makes perfect sense.
