I have had yarn dreadlocks for months now, and the hair underneath has started to disintegrate, one was too skinny and got ripped out already (didn't even notice). I know my hair underneath is probably really gross, not to mention probably very unhealthy and totally wrecked. anyone have any opinions, or an easy-ish or quick-ish way to get them out? I'm pretty stubborn, so I haven't been able to convince myself it's a good idea to get rid of them and that's why they've been in for so long, I feel like i wanna cry every time i grab some scissors =[
