some of you may have seen my other threads and know my problem by now... i've been trying to grow dreads the natural way since the summer and so far nothing

my hair is just way too soft

i have long wavy hair

a friend recommended i wash my hair more often in an attempt to dry it out... she suggest twice a day! but i'm not sure about that

but at this point i don't know what more to do... i've been doing the once or twice a week thing for a while now and no results.

well i did the bs/acv thing for a while didn't work

then switched to dr bronner's but made it even more oily

so i've since switched back to bs with no acv wash (ur suggestion)

i guess i should get some sea salt

i do the air drying

and i just started sleeping on a wool sweater this week

lemon juice does the oposite of what you want! no lemon juice

and sea salt

2 tables[oons in a gamllon if you already got dreads will tiyhten them but u want the same salinity as sea water which is 3 and 1/2 %

so calculate 3.5% of whatever your mixing it in this can be 1/4 cup or more

lemon juice like acv is conditining it makes the hair more acidic which makes it more oily

it closes the cutickles making it smoother too

total oposite of what you want

just sea salt thats all
