are you in a relationship with another dready? if your not, does your lover like your dreads or complain about them. has your dreads ever affected your lovelife?for me it has, both negatively and possitivly. at times i was told something like "your good looking i'd date you if you'd only cut that hair" or something simular, but then again on the other hand there have been many who were more attracted because of the dreads.i've also seen dreads end relationships..to be honest those relationships were disasters waiting to happen, so the dreads were a welcome way of setting them free.what are yoir experiences with dreads and how they affect your love/sex life

from the first moment my king dit not liked the dreads, and also the way i trod, he accept this, but in his heart, he does not, and also does not overstand to the fullestas we have a good relationship over 25 years now, we both talk and hope that the other might change, he hopes that i might change back, ooooooooo and i hope that somehow he might start to like themcould add many words in this and do not know how this wil end, but for sure i cannot change as i feel as i just woke up, and i do not plan to close my eyes for truth and knowledgedreads are so much more than only hair on my head, its the change of breaking down the rules i grow up withyes and my kids (3) had to think first when i planed to do, and they actually loved my dreads as they are not a fear to them

Hairstyles are strange in that way. I attract different people depending on how my hair has been. I typically attracted more women when I had a shaved head but less people were willing to talk to me, I've been told that with a shaved head I look mean. lol. When I had a black mohawk I had more women tell me I was hot but really had no interest in being with me. With bleach blond spiked hair I'd get irritated because all people wanted to talk about was my hair. Vanity attracts people but they treat you accordingly. =/I think with dreads less women show attraction but I also get more genuine interest, girls now like me after conversation rather than making judgment solely based on appearance. I think people now assume that I'm a little nutty so they aren't as surprised when they find out it's true. XD

I love what Puppy said about vanity and the people it attracts.I know I still don't have dreads...BUT...last year, when dating the biker dude...I brought up how I was planning to start dreading. His response was something like, "don't expect me to sleep with you for a couple months or more"Lmao

Ten years ago i was married and had hair almost to my butt and wanted to dread it....we had a couple of dreadie friends from Humboldt County who stayed with us during their travels and were all about helping me do it but my then husband talked me out of it...or more so told me something along the lines of not being attractive....i didn't do it then but never lost the desire. Almost two years ago I met my "soul mate" and i believe it was his dreads that made him stand out to me....even though he's not the reason I have dreads his acceptance made all the difference and i think we've become alot closer as we grow in our individual journeys
do not really know, i never look up to dreads but more for the love and raspect one carry in his her heartoutside never really had matter to me, and special now, even more with walk with heart wide opendreads, the way how i wear you could say is the way i trod, and yes have changed such much that my king needs more time, smile hehe to hang on with me the next 25 years, hope so
I had an ex that i mentioned dreads to and he said something to the effect of "if you do, we are over" so I didnt, but I ended that not to long after. Actually it was a couple days after I told him to be out of my house before I got home from school and he acted accordingly. But my husband, he loves em. Probably as much as I do. And personally, I think dreads are really attractive.
