Is there a such thing as the "wrong" Dr. Bronners soap??

I bought some dr bronner's liquid soap and diluted it a pretty good bit, but the way it makes my hair feel is TERRIBLE! it's the peppermint kind? so not sure if that matters? but it makes my hair feel like it's coated in a flim of goop, for lack of a better term! especially since now i'm resectioning some of my dreads, it's making it nearly impossible to seperate them! any suggestions?

Yea that makes a lot of sense now that u mention it! U think just doing the baking soda rinse would be better for it? And if so how do I go about doing that?

one of the girls on the board adds a little dr. bronners to her baking soda mix. you might try that. i can't use bronners either because of hard water. leaves my hair feeling like slime. yuck.
