Yo!Im Vince. My friend Remiss introduced me to this website just the other day.Ive been growing locks for a bit more then a year and a half.Techniques used: When I wash them I use residue free shampoo (this does not happen often), Never used wax, Backcombed at the beginning, once in a while I use a crochet, I used my hands a lot, But! swimming in the Atlantic ocean and letting them dry to the sun was the best thing I ever did to my dreads.Oh! and I don't know why, but the smoke from a campfire always make them feel good.So that's pretty much it,Feel free to look at my pictures and see the progress from the first day up to now.PEACE!

Honestly I can't see how my dreads could break?
I probably dont use the crochet like most people do.
Cause it really does'nt break my hair at all.
The only thing I notice is, if you don't use it reasonably you dreads will look like they have been knitted .
Once in a while i like to give a gentle touch of crochet just to put the new hair in my dreads.
It Gives a cleaner look, wich is good when you work in public.
Anyways let's not start a debate :P
OH et Merci, Meg pour le bienvenu!
Lache pas avec patience et persvrance tu va l'avoir!

evrybody has their own way of doing their dread locks
and everybody is beautiful in their own way
as long as they are healthy then it should be all good.
i think people get a little addicted to the hook.
