why are my dreads sticking out?

they are new, and are sticking out. why? how can i get em to lay flat

Mine did that too. It just takes time for them to sit down. I think it took about a month, but really, if you just ignore them, one day you'll look at them and they'll be sitting down and you won't quite know when that happened.

they'll lay down after the first or second wash.

did u crochet backcomb or..wax? thats why

backcomb makes u look like a clown they will lat flat in a week or 2

crochet and eeek wax make em stiff so they stand out

natural or twist and rip theyd hang just right from the start
