i only palm rolled my dreads the first month about after backcombing, i did experience some breakage of loose hairs but i dont consider this a bad thing cus they like hook into the dread better. A;so the ones that ipalmrolled are the most lockednow.

Palmrolling can cause damage if done too often like any other maintenance method.
Don't do it too much and you'll be alrite.

i retract my statement about palmrolling my hair and how my hair reacts to it.palmrolling now does wonders for my new locks. sometimes i do s pinch, roll and twist type of thing with my fingers. it seems to work nicely for thinner locks.
