I know SE placed a post many months ago that discussed lice removal. I do not have lice myself, but after a recent outbreak at my kids school, my 9 year old daughter with waist length hair now has lice and now I am fearful for my dreads. I have never had lice before and I do not know how to treat them. Can you please re-post the recipe for the natural lice removal? Thank you so much!

lice prevention...teatree oil and a hat (they dont jump they have to crawl head to head)lice kill.. adults 70% rubbing alcohol pour on (breathe through a tube so the fumes dont overwhelm u too) wrap head in plastic leave on 1/2 hour (at least 15 min if tthe sting is too bad it will sting but steralize scratch woondss) then rinse out and follow with a undiluted vinager soak 10 min or more repeat this every 3 days till u are sure your free at least 9 dayskids use matonese instead or petroleum gellyu can also mix vinager and mayo but keep it a thick pancake batter coinsistency

Thank you so much! I am about to treat my daughters infested head and then I'd like to start on my own and my teenage daughter as well so that hopefully I can nix them before anyone else in the house gets them. How creepy :(

good luck just remember be persistent do it every 3 days like clockwork u gotta break the cycle

eggs hatch in 5 days babies mature and lay eggs in 5 days so every 5 days your reinfested unless u kill em every 3 days so they never get to lay new eggs

Yes, I and my niece did it. Is there anyway to kill the eggs before they're hatched?

It's so scary :|
