1) before i twist amd rip should my hair be dry or wet2) What should i wash my hair with before i t&r3) how lng shouuld i wait before i am able to put mybaby dreads back with a rubberband or headband

srry didnt see this till nowummdamp slightly will be most effective but easier to damage so if itys artall damp be much gentleru dont wanna put back in a rubberband ever use a looser wider band and anytime just be genrler 1st lil whileu can wash with baking soda any non residiue or clarifying shampoobut if clariftying thats not the best for after u tnr just b4

1. I started mine with dry hair.2. See SoaringEagle's post3. Depends on your hair type and how long it is now. The first few months your hair will seem like it isn't growing at all. When your dreadlocks begin to form loops and kinks, your dreadlocks will start to shrink and continue to shrink for several months. I am nearly a year into allowing my hair to form into dreadlocks and I am still able to put my hair into a pony tail using a rubber band or another one of my dreadlocks. Then again Imy dreadlocks are fairly thin and they are still shrinking.
