Hello!

Well I finally started my journey about two weeks ago going natural. Just have a couple questions. So people talk about separating so you don"t get fat dreads or congos when do you do this and is i just pulling them apart or do you TnR? And when do you start doing it? Does the beanie you wear have to be looser and wool?

You will know when to rip. It will be when you see your hair knot together. Which is a while away, but when and if you get there youll know because you will have a feel for how certain knots will mature into the famed dreadlocks. Just wait, dont get antsy.
