help!

Hi all ive just finished my dreads like an hour ago after reading several horror stories i decided not to use wax and im now starting to think it might be a good idea to as i look like sideshow bob! does anybody know how long the sticky up fuzzy look lasts for or any ways to calm them down? any advice would be greatly appreciated.Peace Rob

u backcombed? backcombed dreads always look goofy awhile after 1st or 2nd wash they will calm down i personaly dont recomend backcombing twist n rip works and loooks betterbut just throw on a hat they will flatten outlets see ema scarf will work toand no wax no wax no waxor they will stick up longer

Yup don't use the wax. If you do then they'll be sticking straight up and stiff :/

if u must tame the frizz aloe very but pure aloe from the plant or with no other ingredientsbut its conditioning too so u should only use it when u really must

washing helps. The backcombed knots will probably fall out (unless you did them SUPER tight) but don't worry because they will knot back up again in time. Just don't re-backcomb them!

no worries about the sideshow bob look! I've got it too, two weeks in and I'm still all messy don't worry about it though, it'll calm down, and if you can't stand to look at em, throw em up in a hat and fuhgeddaboutit :D
