Dread thickness duration?

So i have a bunch of new dreads, ranging from the size of a matchstick to the size of a pencil, my sectioning at the base is roughly 1/2inch to just a bit bigger then 1/2 for most of them.I know they'll thicken up over time, but i was just wondering at which point it becomes very noticeable, and with those sections, they will thicken up to about that root thickness? I love medium/thicker dreadlocks, so looking at all these matchstick dreads still has me anxious, just looking for reassurance here ;p

they will be approximately as thick as the rootsits not exact but pretty close tio thatlets see a pic
