6 months natural neglect, But wearing a fitted hat, trying to not wear it but dont know how to keep hair out of my face, tips?

for 6 months i havent touched/combed my hair, exept pushed it to the left and right then put on my backwards hat on, been doing it for 4 years, and i'd put hair that was past my ears tucked behind my ears, my hairs long, and i have no clue how to keep it out of my face without a hat, even though sense a kid ive had longish skaterish hair ive always had a hat, feel naked without it, should i throw my head back and let the front hair fly ontop of my head i havent tryed cause the front hair has small-medium dread lookin strains congoing at the scalp into what im guessing would be a good sized dread if t did congo and lock up i dont have any locking dreads, just really natty hair fron neglecting, anyways how would you keep long undreaded hair out of your face, untill it dreaded.bless, peace.
