hey guys sad day today ... yesterday after much contemplation i decided to cut off my dreads... i started mine 9 months ago with backcoming,,, as the got longer i noticed because of the backcombing i had alot of snapped hairs near the roots etc so none of that was really knotting propely, so i got the clippers out now to start over the natural way,,,, just gotta let it grow out again first ,,, any advice?,,,,, in a way i feel ive done right cos after the natural process il have much nicer locks but in a way i regret it cos i liked my dreads ,,

yeah i did like them but as i say there was noticable damage from backcombing which i didnt like, and also i felt like i had been used by the dhhq for falling for there "methods" so i feel like going the natural way will be alot better not only for my hair but for myself ,, yeh my hair is quite short now but if i just keep my hair free from residues as its growing and dont comb will it start to dread? i dont mind anyways itl dread one day haha,,,,so how do i go about actually starting to let my hair dread naturally?,,, im gunna stay well clear of the comb this time

If you start going natural then you'll have locks before ya know it. Even with short hair.
