going through johnny cleans myspace friends you will find 2/3 are the type who collect freinds just to wrack up numbers and brag abput how many friends they havethese people will add anyonegoing through his twitter followers you find 3/4 are multi level marketting schemes seo marketting companies and internet advertyisers who just tweet spammy crap all daythis is how johnny claims to have thousands of followers and freinds all in suport of his crapits all aboutr appearing popular and trustworthy because he has so many followers, but when you look closer you find these are mostly people and companies that follow anyone just to wrack up numbersits totaly appropriate thart johnny falls in that same catagoryits his whole marketting schemeposting fake pages all over all praising his productsand claiming a much larger customer base then he really hasclaimming 100% satisfaction despite the evidence that less then 10% would ever recomend them againsheeple will follow the "popular kids" even if the popularity is a false 1i made the mistake of following a few of his twitter followers and now i get tons and tons of marketing spam type tweetsonly 5 out of the 100 were interested in dreads 1 was clueless about how to start dreads and 3 said hell no id never use waxso much for johnnies satisfied customers

I agree. When I first started looking at dreadlock stuff, I defaulted to YouTube. The first video I saw was Knotty Boy, and then after a few I saw the DHHQ videos. I was amazed at how informative it was and I went to their site, looked at their stuff and decided to buy a kit. Luckily I didn't have enough money, so while I saved up I looked at other sites and finally came here.People buy into his scams because there is no good information out there. YouTube if filled with people who crochet and spend hundreds on product. These days people tend to search YouTube more than anything when they want information.Also Johnny Clean makes natural dreads seem dirty. After watching his videos I definitely thought they were.

hell even the name johnny clean implies that all other dreads that arent caked in wax are dirtyhe sells his way as the only way you can have clean dreads even though he sells 20 products that all build up in dreads
