Go natural. No maintenance except washing and separating.Oh and natural locks look good on everyone because it is how your hair naturally grows. =)Do it!!! Take the plunge!!! Muhahaha!
I've been told that i have to wash my hair every three days or at least once a week and i would have to re wax a little now and then and palm roll to tighten them again for around 7 months soaringeagle said:

No, you wash once a week. No wax. No palm rolling, they tighten on their own. Simon Courtney said:

Maintenance with dreadlocks: Step one: Wash your hair when you believe you need to. Some people need to wash their hair once a week. Others wash once a month. Still others wash two or three times a week.Step two: (Optional) Pull your dreadlocks away from each other to prevent two or more dreadlocks joining together forming one larger dreadlock. (AKA: Congo)On another note: Personally speaking I wash my hair two or three times a week. If I recall correctly SoaringEagle washes his hair on Mondays and Thursdays. I am not sure how often Grey washes his hair. I am willing to bet he is working on getting to the point where he only washes his hair once a week.

SE hit it right on the head. Its about how you feel. Some people won't understand you for having them or others will just not think it looks good on you, but when you look in the mirror and you KNOW that no matter what you look good to you then thats all that matters.Dig around on the site before you do take the plunge. There are several ways to go about doing them if you don't want to/can't take the natural route. But don't use wax, thats just nasty.
