moving away from interlocking

I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I've been interlocking for the last 7 months and I've been reading how bad it is. Any advice on what i should do apart from stopping interlocking altogether?

thats it let em gothe roots take care of themselves and the less u do to them the stronger and healthier they wil beyou'll get some loose hairs at the roots thats normal and healthy (it protects your scalp from sunburn) that loose hairs will join dreads when its ready or will become new baby dreads naturaly
