Hello

I'm just starting out and thought I'd do an intro post. I mostly read the tips and advice here, but still wanted to say hi.I just started my dreads yesterday. I got them going with twist and rip, now I'm just letting them fly free. Well, with a little maintenance - I retwisted a few that didn't feel right to me after a few hours. Thankfully because of everything I read here before I began I knew to avoid wax and backcombing.I'm 29 and a mom of three. My best friend has had dreads for 5 months now and I finally took the plunge to try them myself.Thanks for having me here.

Good luck with the new dreads : ) Please post pics as they progress. I was your age exactly when I started my dreads. I back combed though as I didn't know any better.
