washing drying how you wear it..
then diet and any possible cause for hormonal changes?
its highly unusual but not unheard of .like in nature ..anything can happen are you separating/? your hairs so thin and fine you might want to let 2-3-4 join together

Woahh!! Your hair looks like mine!! I mean, some of your timeline photos, and even this one here except luckily, mine isn't quite on a thin thread like that (a dread about that size and shape almost exact!). I have others that are thin, but the bottom larger part is not so large. Anyhoo, well your title saying un dreading. Do you mean thinning or that they are unraveling, or both? I've got soo much loose hair too, so frustrating! But my current dreads are hanging on and growing out. Hoping the loose hair will just suck in sooner or later.
Well, I'm not much for advice, but I'm here for moral support!

I wash my hair once or twice / week, using bars from dreadlockshampoo or from a local producer . I bc wash it maybe three times /year, no acv.
I wrap a towel arond it until it stops dripping and then let it air dry.
I tie it up when im eating or whn itsreallt hot outside, otherwise wearing it loose.
I eat organic vegetarian foodd, no gluten or white rice, no added sugar or artificial sweetner.
About separating... in these three yers and eight months i may have separarted my hair a maximum of ten times. My hair just does not congo or hardly form any dreads. Well yes i have a lot of dreads aswell but it has taken this long to get here. (btw the last picture i posted on here is about a year and nine months old so there have been a lot of progress since then) There is no chanse of them joining together even if i would tie them together with sting.
Regarding chemicals/productes in my life.. I dont use them more then necessary, no fabric softener, no lotions or hairspray, hardly any make up. Hell i havent even used tooth paste for a few years now.
I always, from the beginning, had this feeling of my hair dont want to be dreaded, its not ment to. A year ago i cut bangs, i just coludnt take all the loose hair any more. And there are still a lot, a lot, of loose hair all over.
I dont think i see this as a problem that have to be solved, i just wanted to know if this is a common problem becouse i have tried to explain this many times to different people during these yaers and most of the time i have just gotten the anserw that i need to have more patience and i acctually think this is just the way my hair quality is.
uring these years i have helped others with their dread journey and problems and my advice have always worked out for them but it does not seem to fit for me and my glass hair quality, it surly has a life of its own.

That is a very interesting post, i always thought that all hair types are naturally willing to knot and dread, but it seems not. Is there any difference in the surface of the hair? Like mine seem to be rough and it will knot very easy and yours is kind of smooth, that no other hairstrand will hold contact and create a knot? I hope there will be more answers to this topic. Have a nice sunday!

your my kind of people
but switch from the dreadlockshampoo bars to the liquid
that simple switch is likely to make a big difference

My very thin dreads are like yours, the ends will come together but the roots and a long length down will stay separate. I took a bead and put a thin dread in with a larger near by dread so they can come together. For me this is working, but my hair wants to dread very easily.
