Question On Frequency Of Using Sea Salt

I have a question about using sea salt sprays, I have gone back to using sea salt on my hair the last few weeks, since I am trying to encourage the loose hair to go into the existing locks, I am wondering, is there is there a point in time that I can just stop using sea salt all together, or is it better to use on a weekly basis, or could I now transition to something like maybe once or twice a month or an as needed basis like the case is with conditioning? I am sort of assuming weekly is the way to go, but I wanted to ask this question to double check this idea, as I don't want to make my scalp overly itchy or dry it out too much.

My four year mark is coming up on the 11th, and I can't help but feel pride in how my hair has turned out, in spite of their rocky start (although to be honestly I do actually like the slightly braided look they came out with, it makes me wonder if I should have just braided my hair in the size I wanted and left them in to get the same look with a healthier start - but I have no intention of cutting them off, too much time and too much collected prana (life-force energy) would go to waste).

I personally don't like to use anything on my hair. It usually either irritates my scalp and/or makes my dreadlocks feel not so good. I like the way they feel when they have been washed and have nothing in them. Dreadlockshampoo.com liquid seems to really help with the loose hairs. I know they have a sea salt spray that I tried a long time ago and it smelled great. I may try it again and see how I like it. I was still trying to figure out my scalp issues back then when I tried it.

dreadlocjshampoo liquid contains sea salt the sea salt spray has herbs vitamins and proteins making it better for your hair then any other sea salts

i look at sea salt this way

the average person gets to the beach once or twice a year..and their dreads love it

surfers surf a couple times a week and early on makes the hair dread like crazy..later on makes it dry brittle and kinda fried

you don't ever need it

in the 1st maybe 8 years i went to the beach 3 times

(skinny-dipping in front of the casinos in the middle of the night was a blast)

i do now use the dreadlockshampoo liquid like 4-6 times a year now

went in the ocean..once in the past um..10 or 15 years

i used sea salt a few times while making the baking soda mistake

but you really should use sea salt about as often as you would think yiu might normally get to the beach if you lived a couple hours away

weekly is a good max

monthly is reasonable

never is perfectly fine
