Hey guys! I decided to try out and use a felting needle on a couple of my young dreads just to see what happened and hw it feels.

It totally works!  Do any of you have any bad experiences with using that method or know if its damaging to the dreads?

there is absolutly nothing more destructive then a felting needle every hair it toucches is shread to peices then mashed together to be held together by the rough torn apart ends

if used enough you can turn a dread to powder and blow it away

its absolute destruction

think of a felt vs wool sweater

both start off as the same fibres

the felts 'felted'  shreaded into fibers averaging 1/16th of an inch  a sweatter you cant rip with all yoir might a felt can be picked apart5 with fingers with ease

pleawse dont ever use that again its nothing buyt total devestation

its unfortunate though that theres nothing that can be done to fix this situation

except dont ever use it on any of the rest
