Thinning hair

So I'll get this out there, but I'm getting to be an old fart. Along with this title comes such joys as shiny beacons of forehead for the world to see. I am, unfortunately, getting a late start in life on my dreads. I've been telling my family that I need to do it now while I still have hair left. Haha.Anyway, I don't want to come off as shallow or vane. I just want to utilize this resource to try to avoid mistakes I'll be stuck with. So, my question is if there is anything I should or shouldn't do with the thinning parts of my infant dreads? Am I going to end up looking like a unicorn?

Thank you, brother. Exactly the answer I needed. No worries, mon. Wouldn't hurt me either to start taking some vitamins.

And also, thank you for putting this absolutely wonderful place together!!
