My dreads are 9 months old and I still have really bad itching. I checked and I don't have any bugs but my dreads are constantly itchy. I have never used wax or any "product," I wash my hair every two to four days and I only use the bs acv wash or one of the soaps from dreadlockshampoo.com, It looks and feels like my dreads are completely formed, except for some straight hair at the tips. I separate them and mess with them everyday. Even if tugging a little. But mostly that's due to the itching, I also have a lot of stray loose hairs in between my dreads that I am concerned about. Could the loose hairs be due to the scratching? I could make a complete dread out of loose hairs alone, but the sectioning would be off. I just need to know, am I at a new stage or is something going wrong?
