Ive had dreads for about 7 months... still babies but theyre tightening up pretty quick ..
I have a bunch of loose hair :p in all i have maybe no more than 35 dreads

I backcombed starting from the bottom ..and tried to evenly section them
by the time I got to the top of my head, I gave up and randomly took hair and backcombed them
but ... now I kind of regret it,the dreads are thin .. b/c I didnt want the back of my head to look scalpy ..
and I love the look of thick dreads.. what should I do ?
let some congo to thicken ? or comb out the top and resection them ?

any suggestions ?

Hi, i am with you ... i like the thick locks too.. :P I dont think you should comb out or resection or do anything... Easiest would be to let a few of them congo on their own.. Separate the rest.... :)

neither

why would you want 'even sections"

35 is a good number especialy if some are thin that means some will be good and thick

just leave em alone

in a year or 2 or 20 if you want to let a couple congo you can

just be aware that thick dreads have a far greater tendency to stink

they have many other drawbacks as wekll

id stick with the 35 you got
