My TnR/Neglect Timeline :D

Very thick, wavey, etc
I TnRd my first row of dreads on 9/17/2012. I did, sadly, have very loose elastic bands that I kept on for the first 2 weeks.
I often wore my hair up in a clip like this ^ because I hated dealing with it,, little dreadies hangin' down :D

My next row was done the same way, TnR and loose bands for the first two weeks. 10/13/2012
No more loose rubber bands in first row
3rd row was done the same on 11/17/2012
Le side view This photo was also taken on 11/17/2012, Its of my first two rows doin awesome! No more loose rubber bands!
Taken on 12/15/2012 these are my first 3 rows, no bands, doin great
On 12/17/2012 My friend and i LIGHTLY TnRd this next row (making 4 rows total) ~Le side view~
And the rest was left to neglect, I didnt want unnatural looking sections on top of my head and after being a member of this site for a while I decided natural was best, and indeed, faster!

You have such beautiful locks!!!!!!!! I helped my friend do what you did. I first gave her one row of t&r locks...a few days later she had me put in another row, and a week later a couple more rows. She only wanted dreads underneath with loose hair on top. After a while, though, her hair wanted to dread so badly, she gave into the process and let the rest of her hair dread naturally. Her neglect ones formed and matured quickly, too!

A long over due update.

that's soawesome! Pretty much thet same way for me also! I only did about a row a month though, to get my mom use to it. Did about 4 or 5 rows TnR,and let the rest go on its own.
