mouline wrapped dreadlocks - washing

dear dreadlockers!

i've tightly wrapped two of my dreadlocks around with mouline, just like the guy on this photo http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_6RCkLmrszz8/TOWlM4M-wJI/AAAAAAAAH7s/sEyyKHkdnLA/s400/D7%2BBuzzoven.jpg

and my question is - should i unwrap them before every washing and wrap them again after the wash, or is it safe to wear it on dreads all the time and i won't get any mold or other bad stuff inside?

forgot to say: the mouline is 100% cotton

I wrapped two of my dreads with hemp and they've been in there for at least 3 months. They do take longer to dry but I unwrapped one the other day and it was just fine. I believe as long as they do dry, you shouldn't have a problem.

Wrapping looks awesome, Being only 4 months in, your dreads still need to mature, so if they are too tight, It will halt the dreading journey for those two dreadlocks. Hopefully you used the criss cross method with gaps in between so the those sections can still loop and shrink. ....peace
