Hi folks , how are you doing?,

First of all i want to clarify that im from a city in Argentina where you never get what you are really searching so you have to conform with what you find :( , i was using a coconut soap to wash my locs but i thought that it was time to go for an non-residual soap, the problem is that i went to 4 different farmacies asking for one and they alll reacted like " doest that even exist?" , one of them offered me an glycerine one but i have my doubt of it aswell.... so i have to bought the god blessed coconut soap again:

these are the ingredients :
-sodium tallowate
-sodium cocoate
-fragance
-sodium cocoyl
-isethionate
-titanium dioxide
-petrolatum
-cetyl
-laurate
-phosphoric acid
-glycerin
-tetrasodium
-edta
-etidronic acid
-disodium distyrylbiphenyl
-disulfonate

is it any good?, i was thinking in start doing ACV method once per month along with it, to eliminate the remaining residues in my scalp.

Cheers to everyone and thank you for your attention!

PD: for the recond im in the five month of crochet recovery

congratulations on your 5 month recovery! We are blessed to have a shampoo ingredients expert on this site, send Heather a post about your soap, let her know you are from Argentina, and that it is hard to find bars, and list the ingredients, she can let you know what to look for, also, do you know if you have hard or soft water, if so, let her know that also...peace.... http://www.dreadlockssite.com/profile/Heather?xg_source=profiles_me...

I do know that coconut oil is too conditioning for dreading though

Hi again. In regards to using the BS wash & ACV rinse, I used it my entire first year, that way I did not disturb the knotting process. But since you have hard water, you will have to do one of two things, probably the first considering your dollar: boil the water that you will be using to mix the BS with, hard water has minerals in it which makes the BS not mix properly, so get a pot and boil it, let it cool a little so that the minerals sink to the bottom of the pot, now slowly pour out the water you want to use. leaving the minerals in the pot. That is the no cost method. The other way which I do because I am lazy and the cost in Canada is pretty cheap for it is I buy a water cooler size jug of water and just use that. It lasts me a very very long time. Hard water does suck for sure, I have hard well water. Here is the ratio in case you need it. http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/ratios-baking-soda-wash-apple-cider-vinegar-rinse-sea-salt-mix .....peace
