How bad does this actually look? I have not done anything in the 2yrs of starting over natural. Biotin and rosemary oils have not helped at all to re-grow this damage caused by Rotten Johnny at DHHQ with his BAD, HARMFUL FUCKING techniques! Root rubbing needs to be done my fucking ass! My age only plays a small factor here folks and pardon my plain blunt English but I'm beyond PISSED!
I feel your pain!! Something similar happened to me. Ten years ago I got a perm. They burnt my scalp by leaving it on too long. It healed but the damage to my follicles was permanent The hair would not regrow. Now I am left with the crown of my head super thin. I wanted dreads so much, that I decided to go ahead with them a few months ago. I consulted a hairdresser who works on elderly patients in how I could use dreads to cover the damaged area.We gently backcombed only enough to divide the dreads so that we could place them to hide the thinned out spots. Since the worst was right in front I was afraid it would fail. Although I have a little larger part than most of my hair, The dreads fall in different directions covering the weak area. Only time will tell if it works or not. But the real issue is accepting what has happened and letting go, I believe you could heal from the anger and pain if you comb out these dreads and replace them with ones you could accept flaws and all. My hairdresser assured me they were not as bad as I saw them. Maybe you to need fresh eyes to see the best of your dreads.Since the backcombing was done, and when I say gentle I mean no dread was ever finished, just done enough to encourage them to cover the area, I have let them go. Just wash and separate, I am amazed how much they have covered. I will post pics soon so you can see. Much love and healing your way.
He's a con artist, nothing more. You should email him and show him the damage done, see what he says. Probably just find an excuse though. Well, I don't think people will notice unless they're looking at it from this view, right? I mean, shave your head if it'll make you feel better and happier. If it won't, just learn to accept it. It's kind of like a scar, you might not enjoy having it, but you learn to accept it and be happy despite it because it's just a reminder, remnant of whatever caused it. I say, do whatever will make you happy, that's the best thing to try to attain in life
Is the only reason for shaving appearance? The damage does look severe from the top. Post a frontal pic like if we were just talking face to face.
That's the thing, I did in Oct 2011! The damage is done and irreversible thanks to falling for Rotten Johnny!
If you feel you have to shave it and start over clean & natural, then I say DO IT! Learn from it and spread the knowledge & good vides to others.
