Dreadlocks should fall out when you wash them. Whenever you redo them, you just set them back to day 1. For the first few months you will see them unravel and retangle and untangle and retangle over and over. The 4th month is usually the messiest. After that they seem to just tangle.I think I can see bands in your hair. Take them out. Bands create weak spots that thin out your locks. They can also break and get sucked into your locks where they dry out inside and cause mold
