I started my dreads with the TnR method and I believe it was the best choice to start my dreads. I didn't do perfect sectioning I just grabbed hair and went with it, so I have different sizes and I love it. My goal is messy dreads and that is exactly how they are turning out. I'm not doing any maintenance to them except washing my deads every 3 days or so because I live in the desert and its hot and dirty ha. So just an FYI I love the natural method after I started with the TnR. A lot of my dreads are becoming their own with loops and beautiful bumps. My goal is to not have "candle stick" dreads.
