Welcome to the community cupcakey. See how fast you got great information here, that is why this is the best dread site on the web. Your dreads will feel so much lighter once that wax comes out. You will see changes happen too and then they will turn into the beautiful mature dreads you always wanted. You live in an area that has very hard water, Dr. Bronners does not work with that type of water, it will never rinse out properly and leaves a residue, you probably never noticed due to your wax, so I would definitely change your shampoo. Take a before and after picture of using the Wax B Gone so you can share it with other members...Peace

Thanks man! I was having trouble finding it online with my phone, it's ordered now! I can't wait, it's been driving me nuts!
Welcome to the community Stephen. Here is a map of the area where you live, you have hard water, just wanted to let you know that Dr. Bronners does not work well with that water type and will start to leave a residue buildup.....Enjoy your crazy journey...Peace
Welcome. I hope you rinse out the salt water when you're done washing. You should NEVER leave salt water in your hair for more than 1-2 hours. It will over dry your hair and make it brittle and dry. I know it may sound like having dry hair would be good for locking, but it shouldn't be brittle. That's what leaving salt in would do. It will also over dry your scalp, making it itchy, and possible start to crack and create sores, over time.
I'm not trying to scare you away from salt water. It is great, and serves a good purpose. It just shouldn't be left in
