It took me forever to figure out how to reply after reading your caring comments when I first joined months ago...any hoot, been meaning to tell you all thank you, and that I started 20 or so, but that wasn't even the beginning of the amount of hair I have! I decided to never do any starting up anymore and to allow the rest of my massive amount of thick, long, hair do its thing on it's own. So no way am I just having 20 lol! That would be insane with the amount of hair I have! Since I joined and went completely natural I have gained around 12-15 new natural dreads!!! I still have lots of hair on top mostly that is barely starting to make dreads, but definitely has formed sections all over. Im stoked ;-)

Welcome 20 locks will leave you with some massive locks, just in case you weren't aware yet. If you want fat locks, let me know. I can help you make sure they dry fast so no mold starts to grow

Welcome. But glycerine is only good for african textured hair that is not locked. It is great for conditioning your hair, but it leaves tons of residue behind.

As for the Dr. B's, Eagle's right. If you have hard water, don't use it. If you have soft water, make sure to dilute it at least 12 part water to 1 part soap
