The sad part is that I have NO progress compared to last time. I think it's because I had my mom cut my hair and it's a lot thinner than it was the first time. Maybe the first time was a fluke and I ruined my chances :/ Anyways I guess we'll just have to wait and see what will unfold with this journey! Aside from this site I also go on dreadlocktruth.com, it is also a really friendly dreadlock site!

I actually had a slight freak out and combed my hair :/ A few people who I care about deeply (my mother included) were very insulting towards my dreadlings and it really hit home... BUT I am 8 days in again with starting over. 2 weeks after my comb out I really realized how much I loved my locks and I shouldn't care about what anyone else thinks... I wish I had thought that was prior to combing but whatever, you live and learn!
