my best freind (on here chevelle trant) wanted dreads for months and asked everyone she knew to help her dread..then we went to a rainbow gathering and again she asked everyone she met to help her dread iin that 2 weeks of camping tho she had 4 or 5 dreads form withoiut trying
but after the gathering she stuck around the woods for 2 more months and had some ppl help her starts a few just cause she wanted each 1 tro do a dread to remember them by
every 1 was donee uniquely
grandpa woodstock used the woodstock rock and roll method he rubbed the hair between 2 rockes then rolled it
pigtails didthe pigtails braid and leave it alone method
1 used a stick to twist and twist till it became a ball then pulled the end out so it "boinged" back out straight
1 used twist n rip
etc etc
each 1 was done diferently
but n the end none had to be done at all they were alreasdy dreading while waiting to find someone to help her dread
yea i know i just wish more ppl foundthe truth sooner u may have a long recovery period with alot more frizz then normal but luckily yopu stopped in time and they will be mostly fine

welcome but crochets worse then wax hand rollings pointless and harmful but crochets downright destructive
u should never crochet dreads even once
