they are 6 days old, not dreads yet only backcombed air, most likely tey will unravel alot before dreading, possibly even completely, backcombing was never part of the dread process before wax sowed on the scene, your air knows how to dread..it will dread fine, but as far as fuzz, you will never be comopletely rid of it, bot along te dread and at te roots, at the roots its actualy good, prevents sunburned scalp and becomes baby dreads wen it reaces te right lenth..along the dread it gets less noticable but never gone (more noticable after washing) if you need extra neetness use pure aloe gel..only when u need it..very long strands that dont want to dread can be dealt wit a few ways, 1 wrap around the base of nearest dread (never did it myself) 2 interlocking very loosely (interlocking roots to tigten is bad idea and makes em very weak, but, in 6 inces of hair doing it a few times just to hold em together to dreads fine, i tie a knot in te end, split the strand randomly flip te knot through, repeat splitting in a different random place and direction, maybe 4-5 times in 6 inchhes..its loose but dreads in a couple weeks easy.. 3 if tick enoughh add a bead or air wrap, or twist n ripor4..leave it alone eventualy it will dread naturaly (what i do for all except strands that blow in my face and bug me)

keep em clean be patient not much else to it really ..dreads happen on theyre own without effort, only reason the process was complicated was to sell products...

ok cooloverpalmrolling can be dammaging too, and palm rollings generaly totaly useless unless you overdo it (never did it even once personaly).. it has to be obsessive though to lead to dread loss, but its happenedi think most of our members dont bother with it

welcome brother..what do u call "regular maintenance"? especialy at 6 days, dreads dont really require much in the way of maintenance, certainly not what most sites say anyway, i just hope you dont fall into the overmaintaining or dread products trap

welcome i hope u removed the wax and threw aaway the hook

wax doesnt wash out so even a tiny bits in there forever screwing your dreads up

read through the wax removal inffo

when the wax is gone u wont hate em no more
