I don't use a moisturizer. The only thing I use for my locks and scalp is the baking soda wash and the apple cider vinegar rinse twice a week. And if my scalp is dry I use jojoba oil on it.
That is all and nothing more.
For me dreadlocks are low maintenance. I don't tighten them or palm roll I just let nature do her job and they have been healthy and continue to grow. I just keep em clean and leave them alone.

coconut oil.
I used olive oil--all natural. I am so much better because the hair was cut off. My scalp is healthier.
