Welcome. Eagle's right about washing more often. The younger the locks, the more often you should be washing. Baby locks need to be cleaned 2-3 times a week. Otherwise oils accumulate and slow down the process

u should wash way more often weekly is a bare minimum 2-3 times a weeksa much better

Dreadlockshampoo.com sells an outstanding gel. It's designed to be completely water soluble. So it doesn't leave any residue in your locks. And it even starts to break down, by itself, after a couple of days. I used it a lot a while ago, and I'd use it again

Welcome. But aloe is a conditioner and will delay progress by months. It's only good to use if you NEED them to look neat for a special event. Otherwise it won't help at all.

And palm rolling only destroys locks. If you don't do it much, it will not do anything to create lasting knots. If you do it enough to see progress, it ruins your roots, making them thinned out and brittle. I did it for the first 2 weeks, and 7 years later I'm still trying to fix the damage:
