I have rubber bands in my hair and was wondering if taking them out a few days after I've gotten dreads would mess them up in any way?

?im confused, why would you backcomb anything after taking them out? you should never re-backcomb roots, that really won't do anything, (I rebackcombed a tip of one of my locks that was several inches of loose hair tho)also I never use bands in mine till several months later to see if they would help, some I left for too long (like around a few weeks) and the locks were starting to envelope them)just don't leave them too long. or use beads/ peyote stitches which help alot to if they fit well.

what do you have rubberbands on for?
Do I have to backcomb if I take them out?
u dont want them in leaving them in longer then 2 days can mess up your dreadsi wouldnt use them at all
