No.. I never used any special products. Wax was used a little bit twice in my dreads when I first got them.. But for the past 6 months I'd say its just been minimal palm rolling and just checking the roots to make sure there not dreading into one another and I'd just tear the little bits that started attaching elsewhere. Other than that.. I dont do shiyaat to em. Lol

just leave the haitr alone it will dread on its own but your top priority must be wax removal asap now thats next to imposible its evil stuff if your under a couple weeks in you might be best off combing them out getting the wax out and starting over but if you cant do thwst be agressive start by reading the wax removal threads here you want to try heat to mely it out then soap asnd dissolvents if u use any instant messangers add me lets talkumm dawn dish soap or a natural laundry soap might wssh aloty out
