Ok, wow, I feel like I have been to a dreadlock university this last week while reading, gathering and gleaning information from this site. I am sooooooooooooooo happy to have found this site prior to receiving the expensive wasteful good for nothing stuff I order from DreadheadHQ.
I have to honestly say that I didn't think my hair would do anything without wax or gunk to hold it together, since I have fine long straight hair. Last Friday, March 11 I started with backcombing up 4 dreadlocks. It took like 4 hours. And I could barely use my hands for the next 2 days!!. Combed those puppies out Monday AM
Then I found this site and was totally blown away!! (and got slighlty overwhelmed) I studied, studied, studied!! I understand how it is best to go totally natural, but I want a litttle control over the process. So, I am twisting and ripping with joy and gladness!!!!
Can't wait for church on Sunday to show off my new dreads!!! I only have 8 so far because I decided I really like the smaller ones as opposed to the big ones!!
