fwew years ago a loctician in uk told a freind of mine "we dont use wax cayuse wax is bad for dreads" then poured a bucket of black liquid latex over her blond haqir twisted i sections and let the rubber harden and called that dreads she left black stains everywhere she went and had no choice but to shave it a coiuple weeks later

often thats how they learn the crochet epidemic is cause they learned wax is bad so they break hundreds of hairs instead wich is worse

well thats awesome to hear :)

its unfortunate but many salons have the attitued "im certified and your not so i wont listen to you" many get downright nasty about it too theres only been a handful that i would trust with anyones dreads ever

ive tried for years to start a "certified organic" locticians list of salons and loctricians that werent harmful..i even made the compromise to alow them to offer harmful methods asa long as they had the clients signa waiver and be given written materiaks explaining why those techniques ort products arent recomended

its been hard to find even 1 that qualified

although 2 or 3did express interestin the idea

just never followed thriough
