You can use any of the soaps from dreadlockshampoo.com. They are designed to work in all water types. Dr. Bronners is great, but not as nice as the dreadlockshampoo ones. Plus it doesn't rinse out well in hard water.
The BS/ACV wash is great. But again, doesn't work as well in hard water. Where in the US do you live? I can help you find out if you've got hard water or soft.
No, don't put anything on or in your hair. Just wash and separate as needed. Take the bands off. Locks need to move freely to lock up. bands cause weak spots, can break and get sucked into your locks where they start to rot, and rip out hairs because they are wrapped too tightly.
but she did tell me 2 mix up honey wax & gel 2gether n put it at the roots im not going do that tho after look around on this site plus i dont want my hair 2 b all nasty. but the hairspray she said 2 sprayall my dread with it dayly should i spray with hairsray or no.aw ya & she told me not 2 get my hair wet 4 a month.
she didnt use waxjst hairspray idk y. but the methhod she use was she put my hair into squares n then took 2 pieces of hair n twisted them 2gether then she did a lil backcombing. and she put rubber bands on the roots and the tips.

Hiya! Thanks for the welcome. My tnr's are about 4 weeks now, none have fallen out yet...the ends are very wispy and have unravelled quite a bit. I also unravelled a few so I could separate the bigger ones happy dreading!
Hey Caleb! Thanks for the friend add and welcome to the site!
